CITIZEN – Billy Sherwood [Review English]

CITIZEN by Billy Sherwood (2015) ♪♪♪♪♪ ♪♪♪♪♪

Review by Uwe Reith

The magical, brandnew concept album CITIZEN by current YES bassist Billy Sherwood has what it takes to be registered on my TOP 3 ‚Album Of The Year 2015‘ list. The record features the late Chris Squire, Tony Kaye, Steve Hackett, Geoff Downes, Colin Moulding, Steve Morse, Jerry Goodman, Alan Parsons, Rick Wakeman, Patrick Moraz, Jon Davison, Jordan Rudess and John Wesley and pokes out by far of the Frontiers Music srl catalogue. Sherwood has the skills to sound like Peter Gabriel, Chris Squire and………lo and behold………BiIlly Sherwood which turns out to be the perfect blend for this project. Here’s a highly recommended gem, not only for ProgRock fans.

1. The Citizen (6:34)
2. Man and the Machine (6:44)
